ABOUT THE ART OF ALLEN GRIMES

Allen Grimes started his own studio "A Grimes Studio" back in 2013. Currently located in Florida, the studio specializes in digital illustrations, sketch cards, comics, portraits, caricatures, gaming artwork and animation. The latest addition to the studio is drawing classes, online and in person.

Allen has worked with several companies producing licensed work doing sketch cards for Star Wars, Marvel and Netflix’s Stranger Things, through Upper Deck and Topps trading cards. He has illustrated for local and national companies along with children books and art for the fandom groups like the 501st Legion. 

Allen has been teaching art classes for some time as well, starting at the Metropolitan Library system and more recently online drawing classes with Moore Public Schools. During 2020 and the first part of 2021 he started doing online drawing classes that teach young artists drawing techniques and how to draw some of their favorite comic book characters. 

Currently, Allen has started working for and co-founded PGK Productions. He is illustrating children's books along with study aids and books for adults.
